Emanating from SCFA's policy that aims at providing the best services to special needs persons, and within the joint cooperation framework between SCFA and other institutions working in special needs persons area, and in order to establish bridges of cooperation with the entire bodies that endeavor to promote the role and stature of special needs persons in the community, and since many blind persons suffer from difficulties of direct access to the internet due to their deficient skills in the use of the internet, and the difficulty of their communication with external communities, SCFA, in collaboration with the Qatar Social and Cultural Center for the Blind, organized a training course in the area of eliminating illiteracy of the blind. The course runs for four months, starting on March 19th 2008

The Course aims at eliminating illiteracy of the blind of both genders, electronically by means of the talking vision program, and at introducing them to the contents of the computer and how to deal with the computer electronically with the aim of including them in the community through using the internet
