HE SCFA Secretary-general Receives Chair of The Tunisian Organization for Education and The Family

 
 



HE Mr. Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Khalifa, SCFA Secretary-General received in his office, Sunday morning, 2nd March 2008, HE Dr Salim bin Ali Al-Mekki, Chair of Tunisian Organization for Education and the Family, and the meeting was attended by Mr. Mohammed Al-Shaar, Tunisian Schools Principal in Doha

The visit aimed at reviewing SCFA's experience in family care and in studying social issues, and to be introduced to the different activities conducted by SCFA to upgrade the family's different groups

At the outset of the meeting, HE Secretary-General welcomed the guests confirming that by instructions of HH Sheikha Mozah bint Nasser Al-Missned, SCFA President, SCFA gives a great care to the different family groups through its programs, goals, policy, committees and administration by means of establishing strategies, preparing studies, and organizing the different activities and offering recommendations concerning the different laws related to the family and its groups

HE pointed out that SCFA had completed a general strategy for the family, besides establishing group strategies for the family's different groups, all of which strategies aimed at laying out a solid and clear-cut ground as well as providing accurate and objective data to diagnose the current situation by establishing on Islamic law, the Prophet's biography, the State of Qatar's Permanent Constitution, the international conventions and agreements and openness to the world. HE Dr Salim bin Ali Al-Mekki gave an overview of the Tunisian Organization for Education and the Family, concerning its goals, activities, branches, as well as he expressed the organization’s willingness to cooperate and exchange expertise with SCFA. Dr Al-Mekki inquired about SCFA's upcoming programs and the mechanisms of their implementation, refereeing to the pioneer role played by SCFA in the Qatari community and its reflection on the neighboring communities

At conclusion of the meeting, HE SCFA Secretary-General exchanged souvenirs with his guest, wishing him a happy stay in Qatar.
