Within the campaign on saving culture in the community organized by SCFA under the motto: "Our saving is an insurance for our family", SCFA, in collaboration with Markhiya Independent Primary School for Girls, conducted a lecture titled: "How to limit your child's expenditure". The lecture, which targeted parents of the girls at the School, took place on Thursday April 3rd, at the School Theater Auditorium. The lecture was delivered by Family Consultant, Mr Khalifa Al-Mehrezi, Family Relations Consultant at the Family Guidance Department in Dubai courts of law. Mr Al-Mehrezi confirmed the importance of money in our life and that it is an asset we should all keep safe and not to be squandered, as mankind will, on the Day of Judgment, face the reckoning of how he/she spent his/her money on earth. Mr Al-Mehrezi pointed out that monetary planning organizes people's expenditure and provides them with more options to spend their money. Mr Al-Mehrezi confirmed that teaching the young generation about saving is one of the vital aspects of rationalizing expenditure, and he stressed the role of parents in teaching their children the importance of the value of money by means of which people can control their expenditure in the right directions

Mr Al-Mehrezi advised to allocate expenditure to children according to their ages, and to organize payment on regular monthly or weekly bases due to the child's real needs, because spending money without planning could teach the child wrong manners and ways of spending his/her money
