HE Mr Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Khalifa, SCFA Secretary-General received at his office, Monday morning, April 7th, Mr Salim bin Ali Al-Meheri and the delegation escorting him

The reception was attended by Mrs Maryam Rashid Al-Khater, Media, Public Relations and Translation Unit Chair, and a number of SCFA Department Managing-Directors. Mr Al-Meheri's visit aimed at reviewing SCFA's pioneer experience in family care, policy planning and to get to know the different social issues and the different activities, programs organized by SCFA to upgrade the different family groups, especially in the youth area which is demonstrated in enhancing their role and aspirations in their society

At the beginning, HE Secretary-General welcomed the guests, confirnimg to them that by instructions of HH Sheikha Mozah bint Nasser Al-Missned, SCFA Presidet, SCFA undertakes a great care of the family's different groups through its programs, objectives, policies, committees by means of establishing strategies and preparing studies and organizing the different activities, events and programs and making recommendations concerning the different family laws related to the family and its groups

On his part, Mr Al-Meheri acclaimed the achievements accomplished by the State of Qatar in the area of caring for all the family groups through SCFA and by the effective programs SCFA offers, confirming that SCFA's is considered a pioneer experience in the region that should be set as an example for neighboring countries, especially that SCFA in Qatar cares for the entire family groups by placing them under one umbrella to study their problems, care for their programs in order to achieve family unity, cohesion and to support rights of its different groups

Mr Al-Meheri and the delegation escorting him attended, afterwards, a documeanrty show on SCFA, its objectives, policies and programs. HE Secretary-General brought up the occasion for the guests to make their remarks and raise their questions. Mr Al-Meheri inquired about SCFA's work mechanism, its structure, departments, administration and future programs

At the close of the meeting, HE Secretary-General presented the guests with a souvenir and a collection of SCFA's issuances, including a documentary on SCFA
